Series: Star Wars
Version: Member of the Jedi High Council, but (well) before the Second Battle of Coruscant.
Age: Unknown, suspecting early thirties.
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Straight, though it isn’t likely to lead to anything in Paixao---Jedi are supposed to avoid romantic relationships, and he’s already closer to fellow Jedi Aayla Secura than he perhaps ought to be.

Appearance: There is no denying Kit stands out in a crowd. At 6’5, his height contributes to this, but is fairly mundane in contrast to other features; he has a set of fourteen thick tendrils growing from his head, marked in places by brown-orange bands. These bands are a sharp contrast to Kit’s complexion, which is a light, mottled green. His eyes are much larger than a human’s, lidless, and entirely black. Those differences aside, his body’s appearance is similar to a human’s, albeit a bit better suited to swimming, and lacking finger and toenails. He wears typical Jedi robes, ornamented by a belt buckle designed as two fish in a yin-yang pattern.

Personality: By the standards of other Jedi, Kit is energetic, and a bit eccentric. While missions and a number of other things are to be considered with the gravity due to them, he refuses to be serious all of the time---coworkers describe the nautolan as having a warm sense of humour, and credited him as being one of the bravest involved in the Clone Wars. He would never mention the praise he received to others, being modest, and preferred to dismiss past accomplishments in favour of focusing on the next task to attend to.
Kit enjoys having a bit of fun when he can get away with it, and, for the most part, the company of others. He’s a compassionate individual, ready to offer assistance if distress is felt from those nearby, and content when others are. Nautolans are inclined to reflect the moods of whomever they interact with; Kit is used to pushing this tendency aside for the progress of a mission, and is patient, as befitting a Jedi.

Abilities/Weaponry: As a result of his species, Kit is able to sense the emotions of those around him; this ability is the purpose of his tendrils, and is most effective under water. Nautolans are amphibious, comfortable on land or in water for any length of time and excellent swimmers. Although it will be useless in Paixao, Kit is one of the few non-native speakers of Lekku, a Twi’lek sign language. (This, at least, shows that the tendrils are prehensile.) He’s also extremely flexible, with a cartilage-reinforced skeleton.

Having mastered Form I lightsaber combat, Kit has kept physically fit in order to use it to its fullest potential. He carries a green lightsaber, which has been customized to work under water.

In addition, there is the Force. As a Jedi Master, Kit can call on it to use of a number of skills. He’s especially adept at using the Force to create and manipulate water currents for attack and defense, even refining this to a unique attack; a water orb is formed from surrounding water, or particles in the air, and can be thrown with sufficient force to punch through several metal walls.
[Note: It’s been said that Kit has unorthodox fighting methods; I intend to have him having had some practice with Force Lightning, as a nod to how he was originally intended to be a Sith apprentice, and has posed as a Sith in the past. There’s no further canon to support it, but it’s listed as a neutral skill, and it won’t be very well developed.]

Weaknesses: Kit will take risks, as evidenced in his style of lightsaber combat; Shii-cho is best suited to multiple opponents, and offers limited maneuvers for dueling, or evading blaster fire. He hasn’t followed the rules of the Order as closely as he should, as evidenced by his relationship with Aayla; he will be missing her, and once informed of Order 66, distracted by a concern for her safety when the order may be given.
While recovery times could be shortened somewhat by use of the Force, Kit can still be cut, bruised, or ill as easily as anyone else.

History: The first few years of Kit’s life were spent in the Sabilon region of Glee Anselm. While still very young, he was taken to join the Jedi Order, and trained by Yoda in the way of the Jedi, use of the Force, and Form I lightsaber combat. He graduated to the rank of Jedi Knight without issue, proving to be a reliable servant of the Order and Republic.

The nautolan’s most memorable actions centered around his part in several high-profile missions, including the defeat of the Pirates of Iridium, the rescue of Senator Amidala, Obi-wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker from the Separatist leaders, and the victory of the Battle of Mon Calamari. The last deserves special mention; Kit not only led the assault, but disabled a Quarren crab-cannon single-handedly. He had numerous other accomplishments over the course of the Clone Wars, from being the first to defeat a JK-13 combat droid, to successfully using his alias as Nemonus, a fallen Jedi, and inspiring an uprising by the prisoners he’d freed in the Crimson Nova Bounty Hunter’s Guild, which was then forced to drop a bounty on Jedi. With such accomplishments as encouragement, Kit ascended to the Jedi Council, after having turned down offers to do so several times in the past.
